5800 pounds (142,000 sheets) of used paper that was collected with the help of the Steppenwolf staff, our friends and Recycling Services. This abundant collection of scripts captures the raw emotions immersed in each production. Run your hand across the soft edges to feel the anticipation of being back stage. Discover the artifacts tucked away in the cracks. Because not only does the faucet demand to be touched — it’s intelligent enough to respond to it. </p> <p><em>We build this display in collaboration with Young & Laramore. The arms, salvaged from a mannequin repair shop in Seattle, are coated wtih a low-VOC paint, while the fabric comes from remnant piles in Chicago textile houses.
