Make A Wish | Niche/City Soles, Chicago, Illinois
Wishing well was custom-made with a salvaged barrel dated back to the early 1900s.
Dandelions were intricately constructed from cotton balls, dowel rods and yarn. They were placed all a long the floor of the window creating a winter wonderland effect as well as a hint that spring was on it’s way.
Feathers were stripped just at the bottom leaving a subtle fan shape at the tip to simulate a dandelion seed.
Buckets were hung at different levels and used as risers for the shoes. The trees that hung from both windows were rescued from Logan Square Boulevard after a heavy storm.
